About the Author

While many suffer for their art, I neglected mine.

Like countless twenty & thirty somethings, life got in the way and I only completed my first manuscript aged 37.

From there, working OS and in Sydney‘s IT industry, I added another three novels before ceasing full-time employment and writing a fifth in 2026.

A life-long compulsion to say ‘Yes!’ to opportunities, misadventures, hobbies or whatever came my way has served me well and landed me here: with five novels I need to get out there.

I write & reside on NSW’s South Coast, taking regular detours to regional NSW & Victoria when needing to write or for a change of scenery. When not writing , I’m motorbiking, hurting myself in a gym or coaxing native plants into existence…all the while begging my arts forgiveness and hoping that it might take me back one day.

My novels are all stand alone: four commercial fiction and one portrait of late 1980’s life.

After coming to terms with my unpublishable traits, I’m proud to be self-published and encourage anyone sitting on a writing project to push on and see it through.
